The Choice

If I should dance, my feet rejoice at their communion with earth and heaven.

If I should breathe, my lungs become the gateway between the universe and my self.

If I should sing, I awaken all creatures with a call to find me.

If I should love, you shall see my vulnerability like a leaf quivering on a tree.

Should I listen, my curiosity pulls me into exploration.

Should my heart beat, a stage is set for the universe to reveal itself.

Should I peer up to the glowing moon, a million souls peer back at me.

Should I leave, you may find yourself.

Should I die, my body will be enveloped by the mosses of the earth.

Should I live, everything comes to life.

Should I choose, then it shall be.
