I Stand

To stand on my truth

With eyes open wide.

To live without fear

To rise with the tide.

Our nature unfolds

Then recedes in the night.

The tide ebbs and flows

Our life in the balance

On the edge of unfoldment and refoldment

We are the moon and wind, the spin of the earth

Bringing our breath to a land desolate and barren, waiting for our caress to bring it to life, waiting, reaching to be touched by the magic of moment, infinity yielding to the melody of our song which starts the waltz we know as life and death.

To stand on the truth

To release all my light

Let the beauty unfold

Awakened from the night

To erase who we were

And fall in love with who we are

From a spec on the earth

To the warmth of a star

And the wind picks all things up

And lays them at my feet.

Silent are the deserts

Deafening the rivers

I embody this mass

My body it quivers

Light and darkness they blend

Waits to be freed

By the choices I make

Through the visions I see

I stand in my truth

My life will prevail

I live like I know

That death silently waits
